We're currently recruiting Catering Assistants to support a range of contract catering operations across Middlesbrough, Durham, Newcastle, Gateshead and surrounding areas. With both full-week bookings and ad hoc shifts available, this is the perfect opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience, boost their income, or enjoy a flexible work-life balance.

The Role\n

As a Catering Assistant, you'll be a key part of the catering team, helping to deliver excellent food and service in a variety of fast-paced environments.

Duties may include:

• Serving food and beverages
\n
• Assisting with basic food preparation
\n
• Operating tills and handling customer transactions
\n
• Clearing and cleaning dining areas
\n
• Washing up and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
\n
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
\n
• Supporting kitchen and front-of-house teams during busy service periods
\n

What We're Looking For\n

• Previous catering, hospitality or customer service experience is desirable
\n
• A positive, hardworking attitude
\n
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
\n
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
\n
• Food Hygiene Certificate beneficial but not essential
\n
