Starling is an independent award-winning bar and restaurant in the heart of Harrogate, known for our brunch, our pizzas, and a growing reputation for both corporate and retail events for up to 100 people. We're looking for an experienced Chef to join our kitchen team and help us keep raising our service levels, innovation and food quality.

All main elements of our menu are made in house so a genuine understanding of food preparation will be required, but training will be provided to maintain consistency.ency.

As Chef, and reporting to the GM, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of our kitchen, with a focus on:

• Delivering our brunch service and pizza offering from our extensive menu
• Managing prep to keep the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently
• Contributing ideas and creativity to our monthly specials menu
• Running event food service
• Shared responsibility for the ordering of ingredients prioritising quality, freshness, and food safety
• Supporting the wider kitchen team across all sections as needed
• Flat team structure with opportunity to contribute on all aspects of creative delivery, kitchen management, efficiency, and consistency
• Maintaining a five-star food hygiene rating
