Oakhill Secure Training Centre is a custodial environment for children both females and males between the ages of 12 years old and 18 years old. Children may present with complex physical health, wellbeing and mental health, undiagnosed neurodivergent needs and complex trauma. Job Summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative and motivated Public Health Practitioner to lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive public health programme within Oakhill Secure Training Centre. This post is primarily a public health programme and service development role. The post holder will lead, coordinate and evaluate public health initiatives across the establishment and may come from a range of professional backgrounds including public health, nursing, allied health professions, social work or health promotion. Key responsibilities Help shape the health and wellbeing of children and young people in a secure setting.
