Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a specialist teacher of religion to join a large secondary academy in Oldham.

This is a full-time supply teaching role from November 2026 on an ongoing supply basis.

The Role

Teacher of Religious Studies to key stage 3, key stage 4 Core and GCSE Religious studies.

Five days a week 8.15am - 3.15pm

Teacher of Core Religious studies with a focus on developing open- minded and empathetic learners supporting British Values

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to a broad range of beliefs and cultures

The academy are interested in hearing from early career teachers, experienced QTS teachers or FE lecturers with recent UK experience of teaching Religious Studies to students aged 11 to 16.
