Job description
We specialize in processing of fresh pork at our Westerleigh site!
Due to continuously grow we have number of fantastic opportunities for within Our Team at Westerleigh site!
Location - Oakleigh Green, Westerleigh, Bristol, BS37 8QZ.
Shift pattern - Monday to Friday. Start times - 5:30am, 6:00am, 6:45am.

- Butchery Operative (day shift)
- Skilled Butchers
- Packing Operatives (day shift)

It would be desirable for candidates to have:
- Positive thinking and self-motivation

- An excellent attitude to work
- A hands-on approach to solving issues
- Previous experience as a pork butcher or meat processor in Food Manufacturing
- Advanced knife handling skills
- Manual handling
In your role you will:
- Cut, bone and trim meat (Pork)
- Accurately cut and weigh meat to meet predetermined weight and size specifications
- Ensure product is processed according to Customer Specifications
- Safely operate machinery including band saws
- Comply with Company policies, Health and Safety and Food Safety Standards at all the times, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Place finished food items into boxes, trays or bags according to strict specifications
