Sub Agent - Major Civil Infrastructure & Earthworks Contract type - Freelance ongoing contract initially 6-months Location - Peterhead, Aberdeenshire Rate - £40.00 / hour PAYE Project - Major Energy Infrastructure & Substation Project (Tier 1 Contractor) Are you an experienced Sub Agent with a strong civil engineering background looking to lead key earthworks and infrastructure packages on a major energy transmission project? We at Randstad are working with a leading principal contractor delivering a major energy Infrastructure & substation project who is seeking a solid Sub Agent to join the team. As the Sub Agent, you will take ownership of day-to-day site operations across a specific section of the works, managing Section and Site Engineers while coordinating earthworks, access roads, fencing, and core infrastructure packages. Responsibilities include: Leading and controlling a dedicated section of civil engineering works, including earthworks, drainage, haul roads, and compound infrastructure. Managing Section Engineers and Site Engineers, ensuring setting out accuracy and quality compliance. Reviewing and refining RAMS, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and issuing Permits to Work (including Confined Space and Hot Works).
