You will deliver engaging and high-impact Chemistry lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 (A-Level Chemistry) depending on your experience. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and well-resourced Science department committed to high academic standards and practical learning. This role is open to both experienced Chemistry teachers and ambitious Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver well-structured, practical Chemistry lessons across KS3, KS4 (GCSE), and KS5 (A-Level). Foster a safe, interactive, and stimulating lab environment for practical experiments. Differentiate learning to stretch high-achieving students and support those needing extra guidance. Monitor pupil progress, set meaningful assessments, and provide constructive feedback. Uphold high standards of behaviour management and safety in line with school policies. Candidate Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognized UK teaching qualification. Relevant degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related discipline. Strong subject knowledge with experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level. Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new check).
