Biogas Site Operator

Astute's Renewables team is partnering with an established business within the biogas sector, who own and operate a portfolio of anaerobic digestion plants. They are looking to recruit an Operative for their site near Bury St Edmunds. The Site Operative plays a vital part in ensuring the site is run correctly and high standards of health & safety are maintained. The role comes with a salary of up to £35,000 + discretionary bonus and excellent benefits package If you have a background working in anaerobic digestion or a similar processing environment and are looking to work for an organisation that is passionate about renewable energy, then upload your CV to today Responsibilities and duties of the Biogas Site Operator role Reporting to the Plant Manager you will: Support with the day to day running of the anaerobic digestion plant Carrying out basic first line maintenance, such as isolating and changing pumps Operating mobile plant, such as a telehandler or loading shovel Working on a 5 on 3 off day shift rotation Take part in the on-call rota Monitoring the pant via the SCADA Keeping the site clean and tidy Maintaining high levels of health & safety Other duties as required Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Telehandler/Loading Shovel/Tractor Licence or in-house training is essential Engineering qualification/certificate is desired Full UK Driving Licence Per...
