Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00am to 17:00pm (35 hours per week)

Grade: CM50

Location: Remote role - can be flexible with any location in the UK. Travel required fortnightly to Warrington and Kings Cross.

Competitive salary available on request plus £6000 car allowance per year.

Job purpose

At Vaultex, security is critical to protecting our people, assets and operations. We're looking for an experienced security leader to lead of security function across nine UK sites, setting strategy, managing risk and ensuring robust security standards.

Main responsibilities

• Lead the security function, setting strategic priorities and ensuring security measures evolve in line with business risks and operational needs.
• Asses the condition and life-cycle of security equipment, prioritising replacements, upgrades and investment within agreed budgets.
• Manage third party security provider.
• Build strong relationships across Risk, Health and Safety and other key stakeholders to deliver risk mitigation.
• Lead, coach and develop the Security team ensuring the right capabilities and resources are in place.

What you'll bring

• Proven experience leading a security function at a senior level.
• Strong knowledge of physical security systems, equipment and risk management.
• Experience working with regulatory standards.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to prioritise investment and identify efficiencies.
• Experience managing suppliers and multi-site operations.
