A high-achieving secondary school in Durham is seeking an ambitious Head of Science to lead its thriving STEM faculty on a full-time, permanent basis starting in January. Job Overview Science is a flagship department at this institution. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, managing classroom teaching, laboratory safety, curriculum design, and exam outcomes across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Working alongside senior leadership, a team of subject leads, and laboratory technicians, you will maintain high standards in GCSE Combined/Separate Sciences and A-Level disciplines while fostering scientific inquiry. This is a full-time, permanent contract.
