Senior / Principal Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services Location: Remote / UK Company: Growing London-based M&E Design Consultancy Level: Senior / Principal Employment: Permanent

We are working with a growing London-based M&E design consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior / Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer looking for remote working, greater responsibility and a clear path for career progression within a growing consultancy.

The Role You will play a key role in delivering electrical design solutions across a range of building services projects, working closely with clients, architects and other design disciplines. At Senior/Principal level, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, provide technical leadership and help shape the continued growth of the electrical design team.

Key Requirements Senior or Principal-level Electrical Design Engineer experience within building services Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a relevant building services discipline Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services design Experience delivering projects from concept through to completion Experience producing and reviewing calculations, specifications and design drawings Ability to lead projects and provide technical guidance to junior engineers Strong client-facing and communication skills Consultancy experience within the M&E / building services sector Ideally working towards CEng or already professionally registered Commercial awareness and the ability to manage project requirements and deadlines Comfortable working independently within a remote team environment Ambition to progress into greater technical, project or leadership responsibility
