Locum Consultant in Paediatric Spinal

The successful candidate would work with the multidisciplinary teams in the Paediatric setting to develop services within the region. The post holder would be joining a large paediatric spine service of 5 consultants performing 145 to 180 paediatric spinal deformity operations a year.

The ELCH Children's Surgery, Theatres and Anaesthesia (CSTA) Directorate is seeking a full-time locum Paediatric Spinal Consultant proficient in the management of children with elective spinal needs. They will work with an experienced and supportive multidisciplinary team within the Evelina to provide optimal surgical care to children who may have complex spinal problems and complex comorbidities. The consultant would be expected to have experience in the management for all aetiologies of paediatric spinal deformities covering congenital, neuromuscular/syndromic, osteochondrodytrophies, mesenchymal disorders, NF, and spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis and spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis.
