Outdoor Learning Environment National NMT Nursery Awards RAFAKidz Marham is the newest addition to our RAFAKidz family and opened in September and is a hugely popular nursery with a growing waiting list for families to come and join us. The setting has circa 80 colleagues who support up to 335 children including our busy before and after school club. We have an?exciting?opportunity for an?enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant. As part of the busy catering team, we would love to welcome a new colleague who can bring creativity?and imagination with?an abundance?of great ideas to enhance?mealtimes. Ideally?you will have previous?experience?within a busy catering environment. The key responsibilities of the role include assisting the cook in the management of the nursery kitchens, food policies, organising, preparing, and serving nursery meals in accordance with the nursery menus and individual dietary requirements. You will be a good role model to the children, demonstrating patience and encouragement and take all the necessary steps to safeguard children by following policies and procedures in place. A current Food Hygiene certificate is a requirement for this role however we can provide training for the ideal candidate. Our Kitchen Assistants?ensure hygiene and?cleanliness?within the kitchen is of the highest standard in accordance with?Environmental?Health?requirements?and legislation.?Excellent knowledge of current legislations in Environmental Health and Food Standards Agency?would be highly desirable. This post requires a satisfactory, enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and every three years thereafter.
