Senior Estimator
A highly regarded heritage and conservation contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Estimator to strengthen its estimating departmen. Established in 1990, the business specialises in the conservation and repair of historic buildings, churches and scheduled monuments, blending traditional craft skills with modern construction techniques across London and the South East.
Projects are concentrated within the M25 and along the south coast, ranging from a few thousand pounds up to £10 to £15 million, with the majority sitting between £1 million and £3 million. A lean team of two estimators and two estimating administrators currently supports around £30 million of turnover, and this appointment is about adding senior capability as the business continues to grow.
The role would suit an experienced Senior Estimator, or a strong Estimator ready to step up, from a heritage, conservation or external refurbishment background. You will take ownership of tenders from first read through to handover, and will be comfortable on site with clients, surveyors and architects.
Senior Estimator Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £65,000 to £80,000 (DOE), with flexibility for an exceptional candidate
