Business Development Executive

About the Role

This role isn't about closing deals — it's about making sure every deal that reaches Sales is worth closing. You'll work a defined list of strategic target accounts: qualifying leads, understanding what they actually need, and handing Sales a pipeline that's warm, accurate and ready to convert.

You'll sit in Marketing, working tightly with Sales — the link between interest and opportunity.

Job Opportunity

What you'll be doing:

Calling and qualifying new and inbound leads across our key strategic accounts

Digging into what each prospect actually needs, not just what they ask for

Working your list systematically — every opportunity has a clear next step, logged and on time

Handing Sales opportunities that are genuinely ready to go

Representing Venta properly — direct, honest, no nonsense

Essential Skills

You pick up the phone without hesitating, and a "not interested" doesn't slow you down — you're already on to the next one

You read people quickly and bring them round to your way of thinking without much effort

You want a target and a scoreboard — you need to know where you stand

You're organised enough to work a defined list properly — you treat the process as how you win, not as admin that gets in the way

You're direct enough to move a conversation forward, personable enough that people stay on the line
