Interim Senior AML Lawyer
London
Up to £130,000 per annum, pro rata
Experienced in handling complex KYC escalations and advising on financial crime matters?
I’m working with a leading global law firm looking for a Senior AML Lawyer to provide support across its financial crime and compliance function. Ideally looking for someone to start ASAP.
This would suit someone who enjoys working through complex issues, applying sound judgement and providing clear, practical advice on how to move forward.
The role?
- Handling KYC escalations that require senior legal input
- Advising on complex financial crime and AML matters
- Assessing risks and supporting decisions on client and matter acceptance
- Providing practical guidance on escalated issues and appropriate next steps
About you?
- Ideally 10+ years’ PQE
- Strong financial crime and AML experience within the legal sector
- Confident handling KYC escalations and complex client due diligence questions
- Able to provide senior legal advice and explain your recommendations clearly
- Comfortable balancing regulatory obligations with a practical, commercial approach
