Job Overview We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 LGV Drivers for ongoing ad hoc work in Rugby, supporting a busy logistics and distribution operation. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for flexible work, with shifts available to suit your availability, including weekdays, weekends, mornings and afternoons/evenings. Pay rates range from £21.00 to £26.75 per hour, depending on the assignment and shift. Key Responsibilities * Safely operate a Class 1 LGV vehicle to transport goods and materials. * Complete deliveries and collections safely, professionally and on time. * Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects correctly. * Comply with drivers’ hours regulations and Working Time Directive (WTD) requirements. * Complete relevant paperwork and delivery documentation accurately. * Follow site-specific health and safety procedures. * Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with customers, colleagues and site staff. * Ensure all driving activities comply with road transport legislation and company procedures.
