Material Co-ordinator

Morson Edge currently have an opportunity for a Material Co-ordinator to work on behalf of our aerospace client in Yeovil. This is an ongoing contract. JOB PURPOSE · To support the Material Delivery Manager in the delivery and management of material supply to the aircraft build facility, ensuring milestones and aircraft deliveries are successful and within financial budgets. · To be a contact for business stakeholders ensuring clear and timely communication reference material status, risks and escalations. MAIN ACTIVITIES AND TASKS · Take ownership of and resolve complex material problems to ensure customer satisfaction and business improvement. · Working closely with the Production Logistic Controllers and Aircraft Managers to make sure material is delivered to the build facility on time. · Forge good working relationships with business stakeholders, including Procurement, Logistics provider, Programmes, Manufacturing Engineering and MRP making certain that priorities are clear and managed appropriately in the material flow · Be self-sufficient in the analysis of material data and the execution of business processes, ensuring key issues are escalated appropriately. · Attend material review meetings and provide material status reports as required by the business to support understanding and decision making · Provide support to team members to ensure individual and team...
