Food & Nutrition Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and inspirational Food & Nutrition Teacher to join a successful Design Technology Department at a secondary school in Slough. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about food, nutrition and healthy living, and who believes that every student can achieve highly. You will join a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to delivering engaging, practical and theory-based lessons that develop students' knowledge, skills and confidence in food preparation, nutrition and healthy eating. The Role As a Food & Nutrition Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Food & Nutrition lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Inspire students to develop a genuine interest in food preparation, nutrition, health and wellbeing. Set high expectations for achievement, behaviour and personal development. Use a range of effective teaching strategies to support students of all abilities. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive and meaningful feedback. Ensure a safe and effective learning environment within practical food preparation lessons. Contribute to the development of the Food & Nutrition curriculum and department resources. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and support student outcomes. Take an active role in the wider life of the school.
