The Opportunity
A school in Croydon is seeking a hands-on Site Manager to support the daily running of its premises and ensure the site remains safe, secure and well presented.
This is an opportunity to join a school team where your practical skills and attention to detail will make a real difference. The role starts on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent.
The Role
You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance and security of the school, helping create a positive environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
Your duties will include:
Managing opening, locking and security procedures.
Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs.
Monitoring the condition of buildings and grounds.
Arranging contractor access and overseeing maintenance visits.
Completing site checks and reporting faults.
Supporting health and safety procedures.
Helping prepare the premises for school events and activities.
About You
We’re looking for someone dependable, organised and confident handling practical site issues. Previous experience in a school, commercial building or facilities role would be beneficial.
You’ll need to work well independently, manage your workload and take pride in maintaining high standards.
