This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically, electronically or mechanically trained engineer looking to develop a long-term career in field service engineering. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience with ultrasound imaging systems, with a clear pathway to progress into more advanced technologies including X-ray. Based from home and working across a regional territory, you'll initially shadow experienced engineers before gradually taking ownership of your own workload, customer visits and service activities. Full training and mentoring will be provided, making this a great opportunity for a junior engineer or graduate looking to move into a customer-facing field service position.
What you'll be doing Assist with the installation and commissioning of ultrasound equipment. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM). Diagnose faults and support equipment repairs. Provide on-site technical support to customers. Carry out QA and commissioning activities. Shadow experienced Field Service Engineers and develop your technical knowledge. Complete service documentation and reports. Build strong, professional relationships with customers. Manage your own diary and travel schedule as your experience develops.
