The Role

The Development Manager will head up a team of three to five engineers, guiding architectural decisions, setting quality standards, and taking end-to-end ownership across a broad and sophisticated software estate. Day-to-day, you will work across systems that sit at the heart of this organisation — from telemetry and real-time communications platforms to simulation tools and analysis pipelines used by key stakeholders. This is a hands-on leadership position; you will remain a working engineer contributing directly to design and code, not simply directing from a distance.

A significant part of this role involves helping to evolve legacy desktop applications into modern solutions — so an understanding of that migration journey is a real advantage here.
