Freelance Influencer Account Director

\n

We're looking for an experienced Influencer Account Director to join a leading creative agency, supporting a global FMCG brand.

\n

You'll lead day-to-day client relationships and influencer campaign delivery, working closely with strategy, creative and production teams to develop effective creator partnerships. This is a hands-on role for someone who can provide clear client counsel while keeping campaigns, teams and budgets on track.

    Rate: £400/day, outside IR35

    Start: ASAP

    Contract: One month initially, with a view to extend

  • \n

    Commitment: Full-time

    • \n
  • \n

    Location: Hybrid, with three days a week in the London office

    • \n

The role:

\n

    \n
  • \n

    Lead client relationships, translating briefs into clear influencer campaign plans.

    • \n
  • \n

    Oversee campaigns from creator identification and outreach through negotiations, briefing, content approvals and reporting.

    • \n
  • \n

    Guide creator selection, ensuring talent aligns with the brand, audience and campaign objectives.

    • \n
  • \n

    Manage budgets, timelines, deliverables and usage rights, resolving challenges as they arise.

    • \n
  • \n

    Coordinate internal teams and external talent partners to deliver work to a high standard.

    • \n
  • \n

    Support and mentor the account team, providing clear direction across campaign workstreams.

    • \n
  • \n

    Present campaign results and recommendations to clients, identifying opportunities to improve future activity.

    • \n

Experience required:

\n

    \n
  • \n

    Previous agency experience is essential, alongside experience leading influencer accounts at Account Director level.

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong understanding of the creator landscape and influencer activity across platforms including Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

    • \n
  • \n

    Confidence managing senior clients, talent negotiations and multiple campaigns.

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong commercial awareness and experience overseeing campaign budgets.

    • \n
  • \n

    Previous experience working on FMCG clients is ideal.

    • \n
