Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a housing association who are seeking an experienced Housing Litigation Solicitor to join its legal team on a temporary basis, advising on housing management and landlord and tenant disputes.\n

ROLE Housing Litigation Solicitor \n
LOCATION: London / Hybrid\n
RATE: £60.29ph (Umbrella), £52.78ph (PAYE inc. holiday pay), £47.10ph (PAYE exc. holiday pay)\n
CONTRACT: 3 months with possibility of extension\n
\n
Office attendance: 4 days per week in the office for 4 weeks, then 3 days until week 12, then 2 days\n
\n
Key responsibilities:\n
\n \n
\n

\n
• Manage a varied caseload covering ASB injunctions, possession proceedings, tenancy fraud, housing disrepair and debt recovery.
\n
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, injunction applications and court documentation.
\n
• Undertake advocacy where appropriate (excluding trials).
\n
• Instruct external solicitors and counsel, provide legal updates and support junior colleagues.
\n

Requirements:\n
\n \n
\n

\n
• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with strong housing law and litigation experience.
\n
• Excellent legal drafting, communication and case management skills.
\n
• Ability to manage sensitive matters and build effective stakeholder relationships.
