An established regional law firm with multiple offices and a long‑standing client base is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing department. The Team

The Private Client department is led by two long‑serving senior practitioners and includes a trainee solicitor, a CILEX‑qualified fee earner, a newly qualified solicitor and a paralegal who has progressed internally. This appointment will replace a retiring senior practitioner and strengthen the department’s experienced middle‑to‑senior tier. The role offers clear scope for increased responsibility and future leadership.

The Role

You will take on and develop an established caseload supported by a substantial client database built over many years – no need to build a practice from scratch.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing an established private client caseload and delivering high‑quality advice
• Nurturing long‑standing client relationships and contributing to departmental growth
• Supervising and mentoring junior colleagues, supporting their technical development
• Working collaboratively with senior practitioners to ensure a smooth succession process
• Developing towards increased departmental responsibility and potential future team leadership
