Prevention and Schools Worker | Leicestershire | Part Time, Term Time Only | £13.38 per hour Working Hours: 25 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks per year) Our client is a specialist domestic abuse and sexual violence charity supporting women and girls. They work with schools and partner organisations to raise awareness of domestic abuse and promote healthy relationships among children and young people. The Role The role involves developing and delivering preventative work in schools, including the Time2Talk healthy relationships programme. You will build relationships with schools, support educational sessions and workshops, and help raise awareness of domestic abuse and sexual violence among children, young people and local practitioners. Key Responsibilities Develop relationships with schools and school networks to understand their needs around preventative work and healthy relationships Promote the Time2Talk programme and support schools to embed it within their curriculum and wider school environment Deliver assemblies, workshops and healthy relationship sessions for children and young people in school settings Help develop the Time2Talk programme for primary schools, including session resources and teacher training Deliver training and awareness sessions for local practitioners Maintain accurate records and contribute to the collection and preparation of statistical information Promote awareness of domestic ...
