Job Title: Speech & Language Therapist Grade: Band 7 Trust: Sheffield Teaching NHS Foundation Trust Location: Northern General Hospital, Herries Road, Sheffield S5 7AU Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, Flexible between 08:00 and 17:00 Pay rate: £26.56 per hour (exc WTD) Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills looking to embark on a new opportunity within the NHS? If so, we would like to hear from you today! The acute team works with adults in inpatient beds and provides speech and language therapy input for communication and swallowing disorders. The postholder will work collaboratively within relevant multi-disciplinary teams to ensure best practice and care is provided. The candidate will have proven post graduate training in dysphagia and experience of working on acute hospital wards as well as awareness and experience of the requirement for excellence in clinical record keeping. The candidate will be able to work autonomously and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
