Part-time French-speaking Nanny – Shepherd’s Bush, London – £18 net per hour

• Location: Shepherd’s Bush, London; live-out
• Children: Girl aged 4 and boy aged 2.5; nut intolerance – careful with food and labels
• Hours: Mondays and Fridays essential (about 7:30am–8pm Monday; 7:30am–7pm Friday); optional Wednesday/Thursday afternoons about 3pm–6pm; total around 24–30 hours a week
• Salary: £18 net per hour
• Start: Beginning of January
• Contract: Long-term part time; works alongside an existing full-time nanny

A family in Shepherd’s Bush wants an active, energetic French-speaking nanny as a second carer. French must be spoken with the children at all times to support language development. The role covers nursery pick-ups, routines, activities, outings and light child-related housekeeping (no deep cleaning).

Duties

• Speak French consistently with the children
• Nursery collections; daily routines; age-appropriate play and outings
• Extracurricular support (including football and ballet)
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks; check ingredients carefully for nut intolerance
• Bath and bedtime support when required; collaborate with the existing nanny
• Tidy play areas, children’s belongings and light laundry as needed

Requirements

• Fluent French; able to speak French with the children throughout the day
• Active, energetic and reliable with young children
• Comfortable working alongside another nanny; right to work in the UK; strong references
