Pay: £110-£130 per day
Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm

Monarch Education is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to support a local school in Shrivenham.

\n

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification who enjoys supporting young children with their learning, development and confidence within a school environment.

A Day in the Life of an Early Years Teaching Assistant with Monarch Education\n

Your day could include:

• Supporting children with their learning, development and play
\n
• Working alongside the class teacher and Early Years team
\n
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
\n
• Encouraging communication, confidence and independence
\n
• Supporting children with additional needs where required
\n
• Helping deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities
\n
• Creating a positive, safe and nurturing learning environment
\n
• Supporting children's personal care and daily routines where appropriate
\n

Job Description\n

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you'll play an important role in helping young children get the best possible start to their education.

\n

Working from 8:30am-3:30pm, you'll support pupils throughout the school day, helping them develop socially, emotionally and academically while working closely with teaching staff.

Requirements\n

\n
• Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare
\n
• Previous experience working with children
\n
• A caring, patient and proactive approach
\n
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
\n
• References covering a minimum of the last two years
\n
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete a new DBS through Monarch Education
\n
• A commitment to safeguarding and children's wellbeing
\n
