Job description

Job Description

Account Manager / Project Manager – Signage & Large Format Graphics

\n

Location: Surrey – Hybrid, 3 days office-based

\n

Salary: Up to £50,000 Package inc. 28 days holiday

\n

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

\n

\n

I’m recruiting for a young, fun and dynamic signage & large format graphics business that has grown significantly over the last 10 years and is now looking for another Account Manager / Project Manager to join its team.

\n

This isn’t a corporate, suited-and-booted environment. It’s a relaxed, hands-on business where people are trusted to get on with their jobs, not somewhere obsessed with clocking in and out.

\n

And the work is seriously impressive.

\n

If you want to manage projects that you can actually walk past and see in the real world, this is the type of business to join. They deliver large-scale, high-impact graphics and installations, with plenty of their projects sitting prominently across Central London for major retailers, brands, property and events clients. The company itself is an award-winning large format graphics specialist working with well-known brands and landmarks.

\n

\n

The Role

\n

This is a proper hands-on Account/Project Management position. You’ll manage existing customers and be involved in the entire process rather than simply passing jobs between departments.

\n

You’ll be responsible for:

\n

    \n
  • Managing and developing existing client accounts
  • \n
  • Taking briefs and producing quotations
  • \n
  • Estimating and maintaining healthy margins
  • \n
  • Visiting customers and carrying out site surveys
  • \n
  • Producing survey templates in Adobe Illustrator
  • \n
  • Purchasing materials
  • \n
  • Briefing and working closely with production
  • \n
  • Overseeing installation teams where required
  • \n
  • Liaising with creative agencies
  • \n
  • Managing projects from initial brief through to installation
  • \n

\n

\n

Who Would Suit Them?

\n

Someone coming from a smaller signage, large format or graphics company could be a brilliant fit.

\n

Why? Because you’re probably already used to getting stuck into everything, managing the customer, quoting and estimating, visiting sites, completing surveys, speaking to production and making sure the finished job gets out of the door and installed properly.

\n

They’re not looking for someone who says, “That’s not my job.”

\n

You’ll need solid industry/product knowledge, be self-managing, commercially aware and comfortable dealing directly with clients. A full UK driving licence is essential.

\n

\n

The Business & Culture

\n

The business has been built over the last decade by its relatively young leadership team and has retained that entrepreneurial, energetic feel as it has grown.

\n

There are no suits, no overly corporate culture and no clock-watching. They want people who take ownership, work hard and enjoy being part of the team.

\n

The role can also offer 3 days in the office, giving you some flexibility without losing the close relationship with production and the wider team.

\n

If you’re currently working within signage, large format graphics, retail graphics or a similar environment and fancy joining a growing independent business where you can get stuck in and work on some seriously visible projects, get in touch.
