Area Sales Manager - North £50,000-£80,000 + £6,500 car allowance | Field-Based | Engineering / Oil & Gas If you're an experienced technical sales professional who enjoys being out in front of customers, influencing major projects and turning relationships into revenue, this could be a role worth exploring. I'm working with a well-established global engineering manufacturer looking for an Area Sales Manager to take ownership of growth across the North. This isn't a traditional account-management position. You'll be at the heart of the commercial strategy - identifying opportunities, influencing specifications and working with end users, contractors, OEMs, consultants and dealers to ensure the business is specified and ultimately selected. What will you be doing? Build and grow strategic relationships with key customers, consultants, dealers and end users Identify new projects, markets and commercial opportunities and turn them into profitable orders Influence customer specifications at an early stage to position the company's products for success Develop commercial and technical strategies for major tenders and project opportunities Work closely with internal BDM and General Management teams to deliver revenue, margin and market-share targets Take ownership of key accounts throughout the project lifecycle Bring customer and market intelligence back into the business to help shape future p...
