EHS Lead

We are currently seeking an experienced EHS Lead to join our project team in Blyth, United Kingdom. This role will take responsibility for leading all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities on site, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal standards. It’s an excellent opportunity for a safety professional who is passionate about building a positive health and safety culture across all stages of a major project. Location and Working Pattern Based on site in Blyth, United Kingdom. Working hours will align with project schedules. Responsibilities Lead and manage all Environmental, Health, and Safety activities across the project lifecycle. Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and systems in line with company and legal requirements. Foster a strong safety culture through engagement and proactive communication with all site teams. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and control hazards. Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with EHS procedures. Monitor subcontractor compliance and ensure health and safety standards are consistently achieved. Review and approve method statements and risk assessments (RAMS) to maintain full compliance.
