Credit Controller Salary: £30,000 per annum Location: Hinxworth Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, with a one hour lunch break Contract: Full time, permanent Start Date: ASAP The Opportunity We are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy finance team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous credit control experience who is confident managing customer accounts, monitoring outstanding payments and maintaining strong customer relationships. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong Excel skills and a professional, friendly approach to communication. Key Responsibilities * Follow established credit control and debt collection procedures. * Ensure customer payments are received within agreed timescales while maintaining positive customer relationships. * Review and approve sales orders against agreed customer credit limits, working with the relevant teams to resolve any issues. * Ensure invoices and credit notes are accurately processed and customer account balances are reconciled. * Resolve account queries with customers and internal sales teams, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date. * Proactively follow up on outstanding accounts to achieve timely payment. * Monitor debtor balances and work towards reducing debtor days. * Maintain a courteous and professional approach w...
