HV Design Engineer

NERS-accredited organisation that specialises in HV design, installation and maintenance work up to 132kV requires an HV Design Engineer to join its team on a permanent basis. The role: * Produce electrical high voltage designs for a range of infrastructure and connection projects up to 132kV * Act as the technical authority for these HV projects * Liaise with project team and external stakeholders * Ensure designs comply with regulations, industry standards and client requirements The person: * Experienced HV Design Engineer with a track record of producing designs at 33kV - 132kV for contestable connections, power distribution / DNO projects or private networks * Strong understanding of the UK ICP, DNO and IDNO industry * Degree, HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering * Strong proficiency in AutoCAD * Knowledge of CDM Regulations * Experience in control and protection design and switchgear specification (desirable) This opportunity is ideal for an HV Design Engineer with strong 33kV / 132kV experience who wants to further their career with a highly respected organisation.
