Extrusion Operator

Overview IRS Group (IRS) are recruiting for an experienced Extrusion Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment in Halesowen. Previous extrusion operator experience is essential for this position. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating extrusion machinery, maintaining product quality and ensuring production runs efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities * Operate and monitor extrusion machinery. * Set up machinery and adjust settings as required. * Load raw materials and monitor the extrusion process. * Carry out basic quality checks on finished products. * Identify and report machinery or production issues. * Monitor waste and maintain product quality. * Keep the production area clean and safe. * Complete basic production paperwork and shift handovers. * Follow all Health & Safety and production procedures. Skills & Experience Required * Previous Extrusion Operator experience is essential. * Experience operating extrusion machinery. * Good mechanical and technical understanding. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to identify and report production issues. * Good understanding of Health & Safety. * Reliable, punctual and hardworking. * Able to work independently and as part of a team.
