Howard Plant Hire, a division of Howard Civil Engineering, are currently seeking experienced plant fitters in response to an increased workload. The right candidate will be both yard and field based, and able to operate in our current areas of work: South and West Yorkshire. During the probation period you will only be yard based. Job Role: * Conduct servicing & repairs aiming for maximum machine reliability and a high standard of plant maintenance that always meets or exceeds our customers’ needs regarding safety. * Inspect machines at every opportunity and report observed damage, wear, and defects appropriately. * Diagnose, service, and repair any broken or faulty machinery. * Ensure all tasks in the depot and site environments are conducted to the requirements of the company health and safety policy and comply with company rules and procedures related to health and safety. * Provide consultation on correct operation and daily maintenance measures to the machine operators. * Liaise with management to ensure stock is replenished adequately. * Keep logs of work, in addition to c...
