1:1 Teaching Assistant (Primary) Location: Nuneaton/Bedworth We are a specialist education supply agency currently recruiting towards a dedicated 1:1 teaching assistant to work at one of our partner schools in CV11. The role is for an indiviual who is passionate about making a difference, and providing tailored support to a child who requires additional help to access learning. The Role: As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide individual support to a pupil with additional needs (SEND, SEMH, ASD or learning difficulties) Support learning both inside and outside the classroom Implement strategies set by the class teacher and SENCo Help promote positive behaviour, engagement and emotional wellbeing Build a strong, supportive relationship with the pupil Requirements: Previous experience working with children in a primary setting (essential) Experience supporting students with additional needs (essential) A patient, caring and resilient role Ability to adapt to different school environments Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) What we offer: Access to a variety of local primary schools in Wolverhampton Competitve and reliable pau Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant Opportunities for long-term and permanent placements If you are a committed teaching assistant looking to make a real impact through 1:1 support, we would love to hear from you.
