Part- Time Payroll Administrator
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 FTE
Location: Office-based
Hours: 18–25 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Process weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly and monthly payrolls for a varied client portfolio.
• Administer auto-enrolment pensions, PAYE schemes and statutory payments.
• Handle HMRC queries, PAYE summaries and payroll-related client enquiries.
• Process CIS payments and subcontractor submissions.
• Prepare P11Ds and manage employee benefits reporting.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with GDPR and payroll legislation.
• Build strong client relationships, providing professional support by phone and email.

Requirements:

• Previous payroll experience within an accountancy practice, payroll bureau or professional services environment.
• Knowledge of CIS and subcontractor payments.
• Experience with payroll software such as BrightPay, Sage, IRIS or Moneysoft.
• Familiarity with P11Ds, employee benefits and workplace pensions.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a client-focused approach.
