Senior Quantity Surveyor

Leading Civil Engineering Contractor | Plymouth, Devon An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading civil engineering contractor on the 3 Basin project at Devonport Dockyard, supporting a £30m Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase ahead of planned construction works commencing in early 2028. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the pre-construction and design development stages of a major defence infrastructure programme, working alongside the design partner. The Role Reporting to the commercial lead, you will support the commercial delivery of the ECI phase, with a particular focus on design development, scope management and change control. The role offers a relatively light traditional commercial workload, with greater emphasis on collaboration with the design and delivery teams to ensure the project is commercially and contractually prepared for construction.
