A secondary school is looking for a proactive Attendance Officer to improve attendance and punctuality across Years 7–13, working closely with pupils, families and safeguarding teams.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring attendance and following up unexplained absences.
Contacting parents and carers regarding attendance concerns.
Analysing attendance data and identifying trends.
Coordinating interventions to improve attendance.
Working with pastoral and safeguarding teams.
Conducting home visits where required.
About You
Previous school or education-sector experience is essential. You'll need strong communication, organisation and Excel skills, alongside experience working with pupils and parents.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential.
An enhanced DBS check will be required.
