Location: Bracknell, Berkshire\n
Pay Rate: £25.00 per hour\n
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday\n
Vehicle: Company Van Provided\n

\n We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a well-established housing association covering Bracknell and the surrounding areas.\n
\n
\n This position involves carrying out general repairs, maintenance and refurbishment works exclusively within empty (void) social housing properties, ensuring they are brought up to a suitable standard ready for new tenants.\n
\n
\n The role will initially be offered on a 12-week temporary basis, with the intention of transitioning into a permanent position.\n
\n
\n Key Responsibilities\n

    \n
  • Carry out general repairs and maintenance within empty social housing properties.

    • \n
  • Complete carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting and decorating works.

    • \n
  • Undertake kitchen and bathroom repairs and refurbishments.

    • \n
  • Carry out patch plastering, tiling and general property maintenance.

    • \n
  • Ensure properties are completed to a high standard and ready for occupation.

    • \n
  • Identify and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.

    • \n
  • Work independently to complete allocated jobs within agreed timescales.

    • \n
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety.

    • \n

Requirements\n

    \n
  • Previous experience working as a Multi Trade Operative.

    • \n
  • Strong carpentry skills alongside experience in other trades.

    • \n
  • Previous experience working within social housing or void properties.

    • \n
  • Ability to complete a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks independently.

    • \n
  • Full UK driving licence.

    • \n
  • Good communication and organisational skills.

    • \n
  • Relevant trade qualifications are desirable.

    • \n
