Kinetic plc are currently recruiting for several experienced Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join an established and innovative business based in Sunderland. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a temporary ongoing position for a minimum of 6 months, with the potential for the assignment to continue longer A valid, in-date and external recognised Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential. Please note - You must be available to work both morning and afternoon shifts and in-house forklift licences are not suitable for this position. Shift Pattern & Pay - Morning Shift * Monday to Friday * 07:00 until 15:00 * £14.35 per hour Afternoon Shift * Monday to Friday * 15:00 until 23:00 * £14.60 per hour The Role Working within a busy warehouse and logistics environment, you will support the movement, handling and preparation of goods, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities - * Operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload delivery wagons * Picking orders accurately using a handheld scanner * Moving goods and materials between different areas of the warehouse * Preparing, packaging and labelling products for dispatch * Ensuring goods are handled and stored safely * Maintaining accurate picking and stock records where required * Following warehouse procedures and health & safety guidelines * Supporting the wider warehouse team to meet operationa...
