Evening School Cleaner

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Evening School Cleaner to join a friendly educational setting in the Fontwell area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for consistent part-time evening work term time only, with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period. The successful candidate's DBS will be provided and funded by the client.

Key Duties:

As a School Cleaner, you will play an important part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will be responsible for ensuring classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas are cleaned to a high standard each evening.

• Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
• Dusting and wiping surfaces
• Cleaning toilets and replenishing consumables
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to the required standards
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns

Skills and attributes

• Previous cleaning experience is essential, previous experience in a school setting is advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Reliable and punctual attitude
• Good communication skills
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Due to the location of this role, candidates must have their own transport

Hours:

Monday to Friday 5pm to 9pm (term time only)

Pay:

£12.71 per hour
