Multi Skilled-Shift Engineer

PROMAN is looking for:
Multi-skilled Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Canary Wharf, London E14, London
£25.33 per hour PAYE (blended rate)
Salary equivalent of £50,336 + £5,000 shift allowance

️ Shift Pattern:
✅ 4 on / 4 off continental shifts
✅ Days & Nights Rotation
✅ 06:30 - 18:30 / 18:30 - 06:30 (12-hour shifts)

Temp to Perm Opportunity

Requirements:
✅ Time-served Electrical Engineer or recognised equivalent qualification
✅ C&G BS7671 or equivalent
✅ HVAP Qualification
✅ Experience with Permit to Work systems
✅ Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical & Mechanical Building Services
✅ Experience with L8 ACOP compliance
✅ Ability to supervise contractors and review RAMS
✅ IOSH Managing Safely (or similar) desirable
✅ IPAF 3A & 3B, 2391 Inspection & Testing, Confined Space & Mechanical qualifications desirable

• AHUs & Heating Systems
• Pumps & Humidifiers
• Water Treatment & Cooling Towers
• Sprinkler Systems
• Emergency Lighting
• Fire & Life Safety Systems
• HV & LV Electrical Systems
• Single & Three-Phase Motors
• Plumbing & Sanitary Systems

Key Responsibilities:
• Carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance
• Operating and maintaining critical M&E infrastructure
• Issuing and managing Permits to Work
• Supervising subcontractors and specialist contractors
• Reviewing RAMS and ensuring safe working practices
• Supporting critical building incidents and emergency response
• Providing technical support and quotations for chargeable works
• Maintaining accurate compliance records via CAFM systems

Please note: This is a physically demanding role across two large commercial buildings. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong fault-finding abilities, and a "can do" approach who isn't afraid to get stuck in.
