Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Cover Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in the Guildford/Godalming area from November through to the Christmas break.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher, experienced cover teacher, or English specialist looking for a full-time role within a supportive school environment.

The Role

• Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
• Follow pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain on track with their learning
• Work closely with department staff and school leadership teams

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience teaching or covering English within a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK
