The Role

\n

As a Maximo Core Functional Consultant, you'll play a key role in supporting and improving enterprise asset management processes across utility-sector projects. You'll work with Maximo Core functionality covering asset management, work orders, preventive maintenance, job plans, labour and resource assignments, helping ensure effective maintenance planning and operational delivery.

\n

You'll collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, configure Maximo, map business processes and support testing and UAT. You'll also provide functional expertise across core maintenance workflows, helping optimise processes and ensure Maximo supports business and operational requirements.

\n

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support Maximo Core functionality across asset management and maintenance processes.
  \n · Manage asset and location hierarchies, classifications and maintenance records.
  \n · Support work order management, including workflows, approvals, tasks and work order lifecycles.
  \n · Configure preventive maintenance schedules, PM records and job plans.
  \n · Support people, labour, crafts, crews and resource assignments.
  \n · Gather requirements and translate business needs into functional Maximo solutions.
  \n · Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to map and improve maintenance processes.
  \n · Support testing, UAT, implementation activities and end-user training.

About You

\n

You will be an experienced Maximo Core Functional Consultant or SME with strong hands-on experience across Maximo EAM, asset management, work orders and preventive maintenance. You'll have a solid understanding of job plans, labour assignments and functional configuration, with experience supporting Maximo implementations or enhancements.

\n

You'll enjoy solving operational challenges, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, and improving maintenance processes through effective Maximo solutions. Experience within utilities, energy or other asset-intensive environments would be advantageous.

\n

Key requirements:

\n

• Strong hands-on experience with Maximo Core and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
  \n · Proven experience with Maximo functional configuration and maintenance processes.
  \n · Strong understanding of work order management, including workflows, approvals and work order lifecycles.
  \n · Experience with asset and location management, including hierarchies and maintenance records.
  \n · Experience with preventive maintenance, PM records, job plans and maintenance scheduling.
  \n · Knowledge of Maximo People, Labour, crafts, crews and resource assignments.
  \n · Experience gathering requirements, mapping business processes and supporting functional delivery.
  \n · Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience supporting testing and UAT.
  \n · Experience within utilities, energy or other asset-intensive environments would be advantageous.
