The Opportunity\n

We're looking for a highly skilled Senior or Principal 3D CAD Engineer to join a Personal Care design team on a rolling monthly contract.

\n

This role is ideal for a CAD specialist with exceptional 3D modelling skills, a strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes, and the ability to develop accurate, high quality CAD concepts at pace.

Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Produce high quality 3D CAD models and concepts.
\n
• Develop quick, accurate CAD concepts under tight deadlines to support further detailed CAD development.
\n
• Solve complex technical design challenges with creativity and precision.
\n
• Apply strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.
\n
• Work closely with the wider design and engineering team to progress product development.
\n

Essential Skills and Experience\n

\n
• Senior or Principal level experience in 3D CAD engineering or mechanical design.
\n
• Exceptional 3D modelling skills using Creo or SolidWorks.
\n
• A strong portfolio showcasing complex, high fidelity CAD work.
\n
• Proven ability to produce accurate CAD concepts quickly under time pressure.
\n
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.
\n
• Excellent technical problem solving skills and attention to detail.
\n

Desirable: Experience working with textiles.

\n
