Academics are working with a range of supportive schools on the Wirral who are looking for experienced a SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their teams. Whether you have classroom experience, or proven strong behaviour management skills, we would love to hear from you! We are offering multiple positions in flexible working patterns to fit around your other commitments. There is day-to-day cover, short-term and long-term contracts available! Key Responsibilites: Behaviour Management - Assisting the teacher in encouraging positive behaviour and attitudes to learning, whilst confidently and appropriately de-escalating challenging behaviour. Classroom Support - Supporting staff in the classroom and helping students complete their work. Safeguarding - Ensuring students are safe at all times and reporting any concerns to the designated safeguarding lead.
