\nThe Opportunity\n
\nA well-established legal practice is looking to appoint an experienced Court of Protection Manager to join its growing Private Client team.\n
\nThis is a senior and varied opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3+ years’ PQE and strong Court of Protection experience. The role combines fee-earning, client management and team supervision, with genuine scope to develop the Court of Protection offering further.\n
\n
\nThe Role\n
\nYou will be responsible for:\n
\n

\n
• Managing a varied Court of Protection and Private Client caseload
\n
• Supervising and supporting a small team handling Court of Protection matters
\n
• Advising clients, families and professional deputies
\n
• Preparing and dealing with Court of Protection documentation
\n
• Managing estate administration matters where required
\n
• Liaising with the Court, Land Registry, HMRC, experts and other external bodies
\n
• Handling client enquiries and maintaining strong client relationships
\n
• Supporting the development of new business and existing client relationships
\n
• Contributing to Private Client marketing and business development activity
\n
• Helping improve processes and develop the wider Court of Protection service
\n

About You\n
\n
\nThe ideal candidate will have:\n
\n

\n
• 3+ years’ PQE or equivalent experience
\n
• Strong experience dealing with Court of Protection matters
\n
• A background in Private Client work, including Wills, Probate, Trusts and Estate Planning
\n
• Experience working with HNW clients would be advantageous
\n
• Previous experience supervising, mentoring or supporting junior colleagues
\n
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
\n
• Experience using legal case management systems and Laserforms
\n
• Good working knowledge of Excel
\n
• Excellent communication and client-care skills
\n
• A proactive and commercially aware approach
\n

Property experience would be advantageous, as would having a driving licence and access to a vehicle.\n
