Autism Classroom Assistant – Ealing Location: Ealing Contract: Temporary Pay: £105–£140 per day PAYE The opportunity A welcoming SEN school in Ealing is looking for a reliable classroom assistant to help autistic pupils access learning, communication and daily routines in a calm, structured environment. What you will do • Use visual schedules, first-and-then language and consistent classroom routines. • Support communication, sensory regulation and positive participation. • Adapt activities so pupils can work at an appropriate pace. • Collaborate with teachers and therapists and record useful observations. What you will bring • Experience supporting autistic children or young people in education or care. • An observant, patient approach and respect for individual communication preferences. • Reliable teamwork and strong safeguarding awareness. • QTS is not required for this classroom-support role.
